If you left the chat without sending the entered reply, the application will automatically save a draft message. You can return to editing the answer at any time after returning to the chat. The draft will be displayed in the text input field.

In the text input field, the agent has next options:

Emoji

To send an emoji, click the button (blue star)

The selected emoji will be inserted into the text input field.

Answer templates

To simplify and speed up the work, you can use answer templates.

  1. Click (blue star) or in the answer box type / and select /answer, or type /answer and press enter

  2. Select the answer template from the list

As a result, the answer template will be inserted into the text input field. You can edit this text as you wish.

Attach file

Beesender chats allow you to send and receive files of various formats

  1. Click (blue star) or in the answer box type / and select /attach, or type /attach and press enter

  2. In the opened window select a file

  3. Click on send button or the Enter key.

The selected file will go to pre-clipboard for files and after that you can send it using the send button or the Enter key.

You can also attach previously copied files using the Ctrl + V keyboard shortcut after the cursor is positioned in the input field. And it is possible to drag and drop files into the input field.

Knowledge base

You can send useful information to the client using knowledge-base articles

  1. Click (blue star) or in the answer box type / and select /base, or type /base and press enter

  2. In the opened window select a knowledge-base article

As a result, the selected knowledge base article will be inserted into the text input field. You can edit this text as you wish.

What functions can be called?

  • /answer – calls the answer template send action

  • /run – calls the business-process send action

  • /forward – calls the transfer to another agent/chatbot action

  • /close – calls the close chat action

  • /attach – calls the attach file action

  • /base – calls the send a knowledge base article action
