Instagram Direct

Preparing an Instagram account.

Check whether your Instagram account is professional.

If the account settings say "Switch to personal account", you can skip this step and go to the next step

If your account settings specify "Switch to professional account", follow these steps:

  1. Click Switch to professional account

  1. Then select a profile type

  1. Choose a category

  1. Check your contact information, fill it out if necessary, and click Save.

Done! Your Instagram account is ready to connect.

Connecting Instagram account to Facebook

If you have already linked your Instagram account to your Facebook account, please proceed to the next step.

  1. Go to Facebook

  2. Сlick on the profile icon and select the profile of the required page from the list of profiles.

  1. In the left sidebar, select the Settings tab

  1. Click to the Linked account tab

  1. Choose the Instagram tab and click Connect account

  1. Click Connect

  1. Enter the username and password for the Instagram page that will connect to Beesender and click Log in

Instagram connected! The Facebook Page is now connected to the Instagram profile.

Add Instagram Direct channel to Creatio

  1. Go to the  System designer > Beesender chat configuration > Channels tab

  2. Click + next to the Channels detail.

  3. Select Instagram Direct.

  1. Click Continue with Facebook

  1. Enter the password for the Facebook user who is the administrator of the Facebook page

  1. Click Edit settings

  1. For the Facebook page where Instagram was linked, fill in the checkbox and click Next

  1. Check that all page options are enabled and click the Done

  1. Click OK

  1. In the add channel window, click Attach page

  1. If the synchronization is successful, the window will show the status "Successfully"

  1. Fill in the following fields:

    • Channel name - Any name of your choice

    • Chat weight - Optional

    • Channel link - Optional

  2. Click Add

The Instagram Direct channel setup is complete. After saving the channel, assign agents and start working with chats.
