Connecting a WeChat Channel to CRM
Step 1: Register an Account on the WeChat Official Accounts Platform
Go to the official WeChat registration website:
WeChat Official Accounts Platform – 微信公众平台Click "Register now" and select the type of account:
Service Account — recommended if you plan to integrate with external systems (e.g., CRM).
You’ll need to provide:
Country (e.g., Mainland China or other)
Email address (make sure it's a work email you have access to)
Create a password and complete the verification process
After confirming your email, you will be directed to the account creation interface. There, you must:
Enter the legal company name
Upload registration documents (for Chinese companies, a business license is required)
Link a phone number
Pay the verification fee (if required; approximately 300 CNY, paid annually)
After moderation (typically up to 3 business days), your account will be activated, and you will gain access to the admin console.
Step 2: Configure the API and Get Keys
Log in to the WeChat Admin Console:
WeChat Official Accounts Platform – 微信公众平台In the left menu, go to Settings and Development
Select API Management
If you haven’t done so already, accept the Developer Agreement.
Then copy the following values:
AppID
Generate and securely save the:
AppSecret
These credentials will be required when adding the channel to the CRM.
In the IP whitelist section, click View
In the pop-up window, click Modify and enter the connector's IP address (you can request it from technical support)
Save the entered IP by clicking the Confirm modification button.
Step 3: Configure the WebHook
On the API Management page, click Change configuration
Fill in the following fields:
Server Address (URL): paste the WebHook URL generated in the CRM when creating the WeChat channel
Token: enter any token consisting of Latin letters and numbers (e.g.,
abc123token)EncodingAESKey: click the Generate button — this value is not used in the integration, but it is required
Message Encryption Method: select Plaintext Mode, since encryption is not used
Click Submit
Step 4: Create the Channel in the CRM
In Creatio, open the System Designer (Settings)
Go to the Beesender Chat Settings section
Click the + button next to the Channels detail
From the list of available options, select the WeChat channel
In the pop-up modal window:
Enter the channel name (any name of your choice)
Select the channel weight (if used for routing)
The CRM will automatically generate a WebHook URL, which must be inserted into WeChat during configuration.
6. Click Add
That’s it!
The WeChat channel is now connected to Creatio. All messages received on your official WeChat account will appear in the system and be routed to agents according to your distribution settings.
To send a message to the channel, scan the QR code from the Account Settings section.
