Connecting the Facebook Messenger to Beesender follow next steps. If you already have a page on Fecebook, you should follow Add Facebook Messenger channel to Creatio. If not, start from Create a page on Facebook.

Add Facebook Messenger channel to Creatio

  1. Go to System Designer → Beesender Chat Configuration → Channels tab.

  2. Click + next to the Channels detail.

  3. Select Facebook Messenger.

  1. Fill in the fields click Continue with Facebook

  1. Enter the password for the Facebook user who is the administrator of the Facebook page

  1. Click Edit settings

  1. For the Facebook page where Instagram was linked, fill in the checkbox and click Next

  1. Check that all page options are enabled and click the Done

  1. Click OK

  1. In the add channel window, click Attach page

  1. If the synchronization is successful, the window will show the status "Successfully"

  1. Fill in the following fields:

    • Channel name - Any name of your choice

    • Chat weight - Optional

    • Channel link - Optional

  2. Click ADD

The Facebook Messenger channel setup is complete. After saving the channel, assign agents and start working with chats.

Add Templates for Meta (Facebook/Instagram) to send messages on behalf of the agent outside the 24-hour messaging window.

You can do this from Lookups section or from the Beesender chat configuration section.

Limitations of the Facebook Messenger Channel

  1. The Facebook Messenger button contains only 20 characters (including spaces)

  2. The buttons are displayed horizontally, not as a list.
